I was wondering if anyone can help me with this. I am very confused with the way they categorize applicant and parental info.
I am single, a dependent, and a full-time junior if that helps
1) I made $1000 in 2011, but was not required to file taxes. Does this go under gross income AND nontaxable income?
2) What does public assistance include? I received finaid such as the Pell grant and loans from FAFSA. Does that count? And do I count the loans that was offered to me even though I didn't use it?
3) They ask for dependents in my household. I am not married and i don't have kids. I live under my parents and I have a brother. Would that be 0?
4) Under parental info, they also ask for # dependents in household. Would this be 2? For me and my brother?
5) Also under parental info, "did you earn income in 2011." That's from my parents' right?
6) I thought this was weird, but they asked, for the older parent...and then spouse. Dad's older than mom. Is that what they're talking about??
