Anyone applying to UIW?

Have you heard good things about it? Bad things about it? Anything about it? I'm currently working as a doctor's assistant at an optometrist's office and he hates UIW. From as far as I can tell, it's because he's very loyal to the school he went to (UHCO). I'm thinking about applying there just because it's convenient (I'm in Texas) as a secondary, but I wanted to hear any other news about UIW.

Accreditation. If you end up getting an interview, ask them what happened to their original founding dean? You'll be surprised to hear a variety of answers. If you can get into UHCO, go there. Or go to another established school with similar tuition. Good luck
