Anyone certain they will go to Temple?

Whether or not you have been accepted, I was wondering if any of you out there are pretty sure you will end up at Temple? Also, what do you like and dislike about the school? What was it about the school that made you decide to attend in the fall? Thanks!!

Right now my only choice is Temple however if I get accepted in Sinai or Tufts I would have to decide. But to be honest with you I think Temple's strong point would be the clinical experience it offers.

Ashasnarf - I've seen you posting these questions, and smilar ones, over the past couple of weeks re: Temple. May I ask why you keep asking these questions? Are you accepted to Temple and not interested and need convincing its a a good school? What's the story?
I've been accepted to Temple, as well as a couple other schools, and as of today, Temple is is my first choice.

Hey Mr. Caveman! Not a problem. I'm an 'ol man, live in Philly, own a home, have a family, blah, blah, blah... I really don't prefer to relocate. There are about 5 med schools here - Penn, Jeff, Temple, MCPHU, PCOM. Across the river are the UMDNJ's - but would be kinda a far commute daily. Then there's Penn State in Hershey, which also would be a far commute. I've been accepted to Penn State, MCPHU, and Temple, waitlisted at GW (which I gave up) and I have an interview at UMDNJ-RWJ next week. For me, Temple has a strong clinical program, and is my first choice. And now do I get the answers to my questions? LOL...

I will be attending Temple in the fall.

I think it has a great clinical program, esp for me since I am interested in Inf. Dis., I think it will give me the chance to see some pretty interesting cases.

The students I met were really laidback and seemed to really be enjoying their time there.

The only drawback I've heard from people is the neighborhood, which doesn't scare me too much as I've been living in West Philly for 6 yrs, which ain't no rittenhouse sq, [for those in philly :wink: ], either.

PS. i think Temple has an excellent program. I'd love to go to medschool there. it's my top choice after my state schools. i'd imagine ashnarf feels the same way (everyone should love the place).
