Anyone denied post-interview?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I know this isnt what you want to hear...but it happened to me @ NSU 2 years ago.

haha oh ****t good luck!!!

The front is totally crazy! I had my first exam 2 weeks ago and did really well so that totally boosted my morale. The workload isnt as bad as everyone makes it out to be honestly. More than undergrad but I am not studying more than an hour or two a day outside of class tops! I have another exam 2 weeks from tomorrow which could be pretty tough...head and neck will be on it.

Weve been doing doctor-ly stuff already in our primary care skills class, and while anatomy/histology/embryology is dominating the schedule right now, its nice to have primary care skills to remind you why you are here.

The girls are pretty good looking as well too not gonna lie...and sportsbras in OMM lab is def a plus haha

I am pretty integrated into the flow of med school at this point...since I have been in school for 6 weeks now, but from time to time I still stop and think how surreal it is that i am actually in medical school finally. My father is a physician. Every time I call my parents, I can tell how proud of me he is....and that he is reliving his med school years through my stories. It feels great. 🙂

Good luck tomorrow....dont worry about it...everything will go completely smoothly...just act like yourself. Seal the deal!

Were you early or late interview?

I want to say it was like August or september...although I cant remember to be honest.

I was a pretty borderline applicant at this point still guys...and hadnt finished my masters yet. I attribute my rejection to this. Kind of dick to fly a guy over 1000 miles to outright reject post interview (and I am a very confident interviewer not to be cocky). Oh well...everything worked out for the better!!

sounds good to me and thanks for the encouragement. I'm at my parents for the night and my mom hasn't stopped asking me "potential questions." I think she researched them on the internet for the past two weeks. So I'm hiding in the basement....

I was rejected by Bradenton post interview this cycle. When I called to talk to them about it they moved me to the waitlist, so ya people get rejected.

That's interesting. I may call them then. Maybe they will move me from flat out rejected pre-interview to reconsider in 60 days or whatever it is.

Pet, you already got rejected pre-interview? I'm sorry. Did they provide any reasoning that your don't mind sharing?

i'll let you know in about a week or so, but I plan to be rejected from LECOM-E...haha (not funny though). Group interview with some dommminant people, spoke twice, stuttered through the first response due to nerves 🙂
