why you gunna take it prom?? JUST KIDDING 😀

Why would you throw away the last free summer you may ever have? Go have fun! You'll learn everything that you need to.

i have not only a free summer, but a free year. i didnt match this year. i know most of u guys here are US grads. I am an US IMG. I am a US citizen but went to med school in the old country; India. A lot of psych programs (also true in general; but especially for psych) want u to have US psych experience and a US LOR. the psych training in India is almost non-existant. we may get 1 question on it as part of the medicine exam and we have 1 month of clerkship and 2 weeks optional internship rotation in it.

this mini-rez in mem disorders is an observership. u get to hang out and shadow docs. i will tell u all more when i start.

anyhow what is the best way to get prepared for a rotation in memory disorders??

Well, that makes sense then. Experience is important to residency programs.
You might want to just review all the different neurodegenerative disorders... Good luck.
