Anyone do rad onc after im residency?

Seems like it wouldn't be a terrible idea, although you don't manage many complications as the rad onc, you allow the medical onc take those middle of the night call instead.

Anyone successfully apply for rad onc after im residency? What was your experience like?

I personally know two people who did this. It worked out well for them. I figure it could only help to have such a solid background in general medicine.
