I'm not sure if all biology II classes are structured the same everywhere (chances are probably not), but did anyone feel like the General Bio II was easier than Biology I?

I'm not sure if it's just not as difficult to understand as the Bio I material, or if I'm just not taking it all in. It's all on evolution and speciation, stuff like that.

I'm just a little nervous because our first exam is Wednesday and I'm not sure what exactly to expect, especially since this exam is worth 25% of our final grade.

Anyway, thanks for your input.

It's sure as hell more boring. I would take a little harder cell biology than having to read over evolution, systematics, and ecology.

At my institution, the second half of general biology is widely known to be easier than the first half. The first half covers things like photosynthesis and respiration (and all of the "cycles" that go along with them), plant development, cell structure, etc. The second half is basically (like you said) evolution, speciation, and some animal physiology. Many students like to take the "second half" of biology first, and I can understand why.

Good luck on your exam!
