Anyone else here do Cognitive Psychology?

More specifically Mathematical Cognitive Psychology?

Anyone done any model-fitting with Greg Ashby's Decision Bound Theory or Nosofsky's Generalized Context Model?

I have a BS in computer science, so while I was working to get a masters in cognitive psych I used my programming skills to write several small apps that fit these models to different sets of data. I actually left the grad program to go on to start a software company that writes custom software specifically for the research community.

was thinking the same as you. Actually, i think i know what you are thinking. perhaps explaining something different but using a similar concept.

Mathmatics/science is the base and support - psychology is the fine texture that paves above it helping people from both sides get to the other.
