Anyone else receiving secondaries while still Submitted-Ready for Review?

I've just received three secondary invites while I'm still "Ready for Review." Is this normal?
Also posting to let some people know that maybe the status updates on the website aren't up to date...

nah some schools just do it that way. (bu and tufts among a bunch of others i'm sure)

I was just about to ask a similar question. I haven't received secondaries, but I did have a few schools notify me of my request to apply to their school through AMCAS. I submitted on June 22nd and it still says it's waiting to be verified. Is this an error, or does AMCAS send out some kind of preliminary notice to schools that you wish to apply to? Would seem silly if they did

Completely normal, I think some just automatically generate secondary requests for everyone.
