While re-reading my secondaries to prepare for an upcoming interview, I realized I made a mistake in one of my secondary essays. It's not a typo but rather a mistake with the actual activity I was trying to describe (instead of talking about yeast fermentation, I said yeast causes gluten formation). I'm assuming this mistake was made when I was condensing my essay to fit the word count, but I'm not sure how it was also missed by all the people who proofread it for me. My question is, how likely is this mistake to come up during the interview/does it impact my chances at an acceptance even though I already received an interview?

Many of those who read it are not experts on the technical details of your experiment so I would guess it will not be noticed. If someone asks you about it you can explain it was an editing error on your part
