I've got a histology practical on Tuesday and a histology/physiology double whammy on Wednesday. We're doing the cardiovascular system right now. Can't seem to motivate myself to study for histo; it's so boring that I actually feel bad for pathologists.

Anyone else got tests this week? When is your spring break?

PS No jokes from non-students about not missing school. I don't need it rubbed in anymore than it already is. 🙁

HF and COPD therapeutics exams coming up:scared:

Medical micro and intro to antibiotics in pharmacotherapy on Wed. Sorry you're not liking histology, I always thought it sounded fascinating, but never had the opportunity to take any histology courses.

IBD Therapeutics and Drug Monitoring exams this week.

Still would take that over Histology, though. gl.

We just got done with Immunology/Rheumatology and a primer on variability in Kinetics.

Next up is pharmacology of mind-altering substances and ID. Fun times lie ahead.

WVU you broke the rules, how dare you. Lucky I'm not an admin! :zip:

Too bad. You might want to be a pathologist some day. Pay attention.

If I was to ever be a physician, I'd def be a pathologist. No whining patients. Just their whining biological matter. Kinda like being a staff pharmacist, really. The weirdos in the basement...

Well at least they don't make us look at microscopes anymore. We have one two hour lab during this course and that's it, otherwise we just use the digital slides. That part is sweet.

.........creepy........you know what they say about the path guys, right? Get a little too comfortable with the dead bodies.

👍 Yeah, me too. In fact, I considered that career path before applying to pharmacy school.

More histo slides for you guys 'cause I'm bored.

PS max file size 200kb is crap.

It's naughty...very naughty necrophilia...without a care I'm compassionate about killing her..I'd have my way with what's left of the will in her. Cosmopolitans and cocaine an occasional pill in her...When she'd smoke I saw a spark but it was dark so I drove her home when she died sexy suicide...Sweet nothings for the nom, you feel where I'm coming from?...Have no fear everything's fine my girl parties all the time...Did you hear what I said?...With this ring I thee wed...Her body in my bed...she was cool when I met her, but I think I like her better dead.

Go study you foo. I got 4 different books I'm reading... Make that 5 if I include Dilbert Principle.

Gawd..I'm so glad I don't have to study.

I'm watching the world's heaviest man get married on TLC...this is crazy chit!

yeah all my MS-1 friends are doing histo right now...no microscopes, all slides!

i have clinical skills later this morning (should be straightforward... SOAP noting, BP, charting, vitals, etc...), pathophysio on Thursday (dementia, PD, schizo, bipolar, anxiety, depression, PMS, seizure, and CNS infections), then biostats on friday.

med chem next week on thursday, then Temple is throwing a big ol' cross-disciplinary party here in the city so I might show up to that. Then one week of spring break!

friend of mine is almost done his path residency. That's a great way to go...

I actually miss studying.......therapeutics, that is. Not those basic chem/org/bio bah. How scary is that?!

Much better than working 9-5, I believe. But I guess I better start cranking on that Naplex studying. Hah.

If you are such a sucker for punishment, you can always go back to school. 😀 I never thought I would want to go back to school less than five years after graduating from pharmacy school, but I do... in fact, applying right now. 🙄

PS. ****, I just remember that I am teaching a lecture this week and I have zero slides done yet! So I guess that's my equivalent of studying. 🙄

You actually read DiPiro? Insanity. Read the handbook and save yourself hours.

IPPEs are slowly killing everyone, be happy you're not the only one who has to cancel anything enjoyable in your life.

The logical thing for me to do would be to also do 40 hrs of retail IPPE over break, but no, I choose to live and do what I want, so I'm doing an alternative spring break program. The IPPEs will get themselves done eventually...we have the option of doing them over the first 2 weeks of summer vacation. And coming back to school to present afterwards...good thing I live an hour by regional train from my school so I wouldn't have to face a long commute.

Well I ****ing bombed my histology written exam, thanks a lot SDN. Now I have to go into gunner mode for the remaining three.

****.

The book doesn't have every chapter but it has the more important chapter, shaves a lot of time off of reading. I recommend, it cuts out all the other stupid BS that they talk about.

I told you so.

5 tests in the next 2 weeks. 2 of which are in the same class. go figure

Next weekend I have hematology and endocrine, neither should be too bad since we've had them both before. Man I'm glad this is the last semester of classroom stuff, I don't think I could take much more.
