I remember reading that the reason std's are so common via anal sex is due to the 1 cell-layer thick squamous epithelium .... opposed to the vaginal layers.

Well I don't know anything about vaginal epithelium yet since we haven't done reproductive histo yet, but your rectum has tons of blood vessels just sitting there ready to bleed. That's why hemmorhoids are so common, you have essentially a big tall pool of venous blood that ends right there in the rectum.

Welp my histo test was supposed to be today but the snow killed the exam and so they rescheduled it for Friday. I was supposed to start studying for physio today and now I have two tests to study for on Friday.
