Just wondering if anyone else was having trouble with their transcripts not arriving & being marked "received." My transcripts from my alma mater and also from a state univ got there just fine and were marked received weeks ago.
But I'm waiting on 2 transcripts for 2 non-credit for fun classes I took from 2 community colleges (damned sewing class I took is going to screw my life over!
). The original one I had them sent (6/2) got there I'm pretty sure, but they misspelled my name so I'm sure AMCAS tossed it. Now, I corrected that issue, and they've resent it but no word from AMCAS on receiving it. Last week I resent the transcript *again* (3rd time now), this time Express which includes signature confirmation.
Now I'm a little worried because no one signed for their first delivery attempt, and they're going to hold the thing for 5 days until it goes back to the sender (!!). Oh lord. The Registrar's office at that community college already hates me for pestering about this thing, now for the 3rd time. And what's worse, I'm not even in the same state as them, so it's not like I can just show up in person and make them do anything. The woman's going to start blocking my calls or something. I'm assuming whoever checks their PO Box also goes to the post office to pick up packages as part of their job... but at this point I'm really having my doubts on the competence of these people.
