I work all day but find myself checking my email every 30 mins like a psycho and then have the nerve to get mad when I don't receive anything! I guess since I basically live on sdn, everytime anyone hear from a school I get all crazy and start checking everything...anyone else have funny/ similar stories?..just trying to keep it fun....i'm sure the mailman will start running from me come thanksgiving 😀

I'm exactly like you! Except, for some reason, my mailman has decided to come around 5:30-6:30pm now instead of 11:30-1pm like he used to so I stare out the window all day waiting to see the USPS van.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat - I check my e-mail constantly, I'm on SDN all the time and I stare at predents just waiting for anything to happen.

To add to all my hysteria, I've also started to have intense dreams about the application process and upcoming interviews. I dreamt I forgot to bring my suit to an interview so I threw on a potato sack. I was also late and blamed it on traffic. I don't think I got accepted in my dream. I just hope it doesn't turn into reality.

I am actually exactly the same way... I run to my mailbox every day at 1 PM..

I have gmail notifier on my computer, so if I get any email, it makes a nice alert noise in which I go running to my computer... only to realize its junk mail... AHHH

I only got ONE meaningful email up to this point, and I am going crazy just waiting around for something else to pop up.

I use Firefox as a web browser. You just search for gmail notifier as an extension for it, and it will install for you.

Then, you put your user name, and password, and play around with the options so that when you get an email, it gives you a pop up, and a sound.

I actually have it checking my email once ever 2 minutes... Talk about CRAZY! lol

use mozilla thunderbird... its awesome... makes a little noise and a little message everything mail comes.... so i never have to check my mail. If anything comes i hear a ding or if im on my computer a little box will pop up. I think ive realized to help keep my nerves calm i try to check addsas and care about everything until friday. i do all my school work during the week and then hope this friday will be like last friday... Completly unexpected..

We should start a poll on who's had this dream where you forget your suit. In my version I just "happened" to be infront of the school when I realized I was supposed to be interviewing, yet I was still in my jeans.

5 times????? I checked my email religiously for those darn interview invites every 5 minutes from 9 to 5!!!!!!! 😱😱😱 But I am pretty sure a lot of us are the same.

I admit it... I do it too. I can't help it! I come home from work and all of a sudden it's after 9 or 10pm and I still have yet to eat dinner because I got so caught up with my e-mail/SDN/AADSAS/school sites. Man... and it's only September. We're all going to have gray hair by next spring.
