Anyone ever get below 150 on step 2?

Does anybody know anybody who has gotten below 150 on the usmle? Did they pass the next time they took it?

Another thing I was wondering was if you fail the first time you take the usmle and then get a high score the second time will residency programs see both scores or will they only see the score which you passed with?

I don't have an answer to your second question, but a girl in my class scored a 141 on step 1 and passed on her next try. The school sent her somewhere in Florida to study for a couple months. She got a 203 on her second attempt.

If she could do it on step 1, Im sure you can do it on step 2.

they will know you fail...so whatever you do, dont fail

one friend took it and got 147; others just broke 150s/ 16

# of attempts is reported for every USMLE exam. IF your # of attempts is more than 1... duh, you failed. And yes, residency programs see it.
