It seems to be the going opinion that the MCAT is something we just have to do so that we can hopefully get into med school but no one seems to feel the way I do. I am incredibly excited about studying for the MCAT. I have been studying for a month and when I was getting overwhelmed with Biology, I switched to working on verbal while making flashcards for Bio. I will admit I have yet to take a FL and I don't think sitting for 5.5hours taking a test is a party but it is my opportunity to show that my somewhat wanting GPA is a product of working while in school, not being stupid or lack of trying.

Basically I am just wondering, am I crazy or are other people as excited as I am? This is another step towards doing what I want to do with my life, I am enjoying it.

I was excited to get it over with (took it 08/05). I wasn't excited about having to sit for 5.5hrs staring at a computer. I'd much rather do other stuff with that amount of time (i.e. sleeping, going to six flags, running around crying when I find out I didn't get the score I wanted on the test, running away from zombies).

Having been studying for so long, I am so weary that I don't even know what's excitement and what's frustration. In that sense, yes I am excited.

That's a great attitude to have. Keep it up and good luck!
