For University of Maryland College Park pre-dentals.

Just a quick question, I heard we have pre-health committee and advisor.
If so, how do we obtain the LORs? Is there a form we can fill out to give them to the professors? So they can mail it to the committee and the committee can send it to aadsas? How does this work??

any other informations related to the application process would be appreciated MUCH!!!

Hey what's up fellow terp?
I am currently in the application process to get in Fall 2007, and I will graduate from UMD this december. Here is what you need to know:
1) the prehealth office is on the ground level of Hornbake Library. The have an organized schedule of things you need to do before applying, while applying and even after applying.
2) Get close to some professors to ask for recommendations. You wil find LOR form in the pre health office. The profesors will send the letter to the prehealth office.
3) Get some dental experience
4) fill out ADDSAS ( adea.org) right after may 15th, 2007.
5) start studying for DAT, and take it before July. ( I took it in september, but I am still fine)
6) ... after a few months of anticipation .. secondaries and interviews... you will get in to Maryland dental school ( they love college park students)

BTW, I didn't even apply to Maryland.
If you have any questions, pm me.
