anyone get accepted off of a waitlist/hold yet?

If you don't mind Yogi Bear - Add Umich to that list. Anyone get off the waitlist at Case Western or Umich's waitlists??

Yogi, I wouldn't expect a whole lot of waitlist movement until May 15th. People seem to be very lazy about withdrawing their acceptances until they are forced to do so.

I'm pretty sure Vanderbilt's letter explicitly mentioned that there wouldn't be any movement until May.

Case Western...well, gee, would be nice to know what's up with that....

Because I dont know of anyone taken off post-interview hold at Case, I'm guessing that they might not let the HOLDS know until April like the letter states. But if people don't have to decline acceptances until May.. maybe there wont be a lot of movement from hold in April.. meaning- maybe a lot of people will go from hold to waitlist instead of from hold to acceptance in April.

sigh,
luw

so lemme get this straight: case has a "hold" category AND a "waitlist" category? what's the difference? i just thought i was waitlisted but maybe i better read my letter again...

It is my understanding that by April 15 those of us on Hold at Case will be told if we are accepted, rejected, or waitlisted. This is just what I've heard.

Most of the movement is going to be over the summer. Last year, there were a lot of kids from my college, who got in over the summer. One actually was the Homecoming Queen, and she skipped her interview for the festivities, she got in the day before school started. So, remember, it's never too late!
