just wondering.

my school requires 3.00 gpa for pre-med majors, 2.50 gpa for law/engineer and 2.00 gpa for everyone else. anyways, i had a 2.92 gpa my first semester so does list academic probation on my transcript my freshman year. The dean offered to write a letter saying how it was close to their cut offs....

So how should I state this in my application? I mean to be honest I was just immature and didn't take it seriously.

Did anyone else get accepted with academic probation? I have 3.81 overall gpa and 30s mcat.

Yep, I was on probation for being below 2.0 and I got in. Just explain it the way you just did in your post. I doubt anyone would care. It's definitely not a dealbreaker considering your overall GPA/MCAT.

A past academic probation won't be an issue for you, if you explain it well, considering you clearly learned from the situation and went on to demonstrate your consistent ability to earn great grades, and especially since you figured things out before there was a irremediable impact on your GPA.

Had an academic probation my first year and have two acceptances in hand currently with three interviews down and three to go.
