hey everyone.. i dont know if this has been talked about but i got this email.. does this mean my worries are over??? at least for a while

At this point in time you are probably aware that your application was successfully transmitted. All applications received as of August 3 were sent to respective medical schools the week of August 6th. Let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.

I'm assuming D.R. is one of the "specialists" at AMCAS?

Ummm... as far as I know Michigan and Stanford are the only schools whose electronic transmission process is working right now.

I seriously doubt that all of a sudden all the other 100+ AMCAS schools have started receiving apps electronically.

Perhaps this AMCAS "specialist" is referring only to Michigan or Stanford?

No I did not get this. I'm not getting anything from AMCAS any more, so I suppose I'm out of favor with them again for some reason. In fact, they took away the dates I had on the transmission section.

Is that all that the email said? Who the @#%^ is D.R.? And how could anyone be "probably aware" of anything from AMCAS, let alone transmission? Did they send you anything previously indicating that your app was transmitted? Ack!
