Anyone getting invites lately?

Has anyone received an invitation from a dental school lately? I've already had two interviews, but the others are taking foreverrrrrr.

December is approaching, so I'm more excited about receiving an acceptance letter at this point!

I havent received any more inertiew invites in the last 2 weeks. I am still waiting on 6 schools, although tufts pitt and UCLA i dont think theyve started reviewing applications.

Pitt has been interviewing since mid-October.

I'm still waiting to hear from a few schools. I hadn't heard anything in a few weeks but I just got the Maryland secondary today.

I heard UCLA sent out 1 round of interview for nov 7th... haven't heard about any other invites though.. so they've started to look through & invite ppl..

I had my Pitt interview already. Maybe your perfect 4.04/4.09 GPAs are holding you back, or wait maybe the awesome DATs 21/22/24... haha... How can you make your app any stronger?? You should be allowed to choose where to go with those stats. Since Pitt isn't your top choice and it does happen to be mine, I hope you get an interview there (less competition for me!)

Got a University of Oklahoma invite today. It's Dec. 2nd for whatever that's worth. That's 2nd round, but it's the first day of second round.

Hopefully they won't be tired of us Pre-Dents yet by the time I get in there to interview.

Ya I had been waiting on them for a long time! My aadsas was submitted in May and everything else was in by like the end of July. My stats are pretty good. My DATs are at or slightly above the average of people getting accepted to dental school and my GPA is pretty well above average. Just to give you an idea, I've been invited for 7 interviews out of the 13 schools I applied to so far and no rejections (a few i just haven't heard from yet). Don't give up hope cause it seems like Maryland has been giving out a lot of interviews lately! Good luck! 🙂
