I mean any calls or updates .... 😕

I just got an email from colorado confirming the interview and bench exam for may 9th...

has anybody heard from them...anybody knows how much is it for the bench exam... I mean the amount you have to pay if any for the colorado bench exam and what kind of preps for the bench exam?


They also said that the formal letter of invitation for interview will be sent on april 2nd...

colorado university prefers green card of citizen ??

or they are giving equal chances to all ?

in teh email they said tht they will not start calling for interviews until April, when did u get teh int call

Green card/Citizenship is not a criteria in selection process in colorado...Once called for interview everything depends on Bench test...

do they tell wht will be in teh bench test or we find out only on the interview day

hi,
can u plz let me know when u got this email? did they invite u for the interview or asked ur opinion on the dates for the interview? because they told that they will start calling for the interviews only after the last date for applications is over

Do you mean that they are sending e-mails in the week end days saturday and sunday
 
How many seats are there in Uni of colorado ?
 
Any update for interviews.

Friends who got calls: are you located in North America at present / or applied very early ? Any input ?

I do not see many people on SDN who got a call so far.... May be they have sent only few interviews...

I hope situation will be cleared by May 8.

I also got interview call on may 2nd.Can someone who went last year tell me if they provide lab coat eye protection,burs and loops,they said feel free to bring your own ,I dont have my own .Should i buy them or does it mean that i can also use the ones they provide?

when did u guys get the call? and does anybody till which date they are going to call, i hope they give time to prepare for personal interview.

I was wondering are loupes compulsory to b used ??
How r the fellow sdner's preparing for this interview??

Eye protection is necessary, but you don't have to wear loupes. Regular glasses should do it.

Also it is better to take your own burs/instruments/anything they allow.

can i prepare for bench exam at home?what kind of handpiece,air compressor, foot pedal do i need for that. any input is appreciated.

It will be in the dental school. You can get the address from the website. There are some decent hotels in the 3-5 mile radius. You can drive to school or cab it. The whole place is close to the airport too.

i got i/v call fr colorado on may 2nd frm jane miller............i have many doubts on this ................hey guys cn any one of u help me please.......iam really 😕😕😕😕......

1. I dnt have instruments which thy stated in the email to bring like........own lab coats, eye protection, loops, burs, and other instruments ............frm where to buy them

2. other doubt................for practical exm .................prep of proximoocclusal Class II cavity, a full crown, either full gold or porcelain fused to metal preparation...........as iam nt goin fr observeship..........i dont knw frm where to prepare fr practical exm.....................any one tell me frm where to n how to prepare fr colorado practical exm..........

3. Waxing exercise ........Thy dint mention wat to carve............hey guys does anyone have any idea wt thy usually ask to carve..............n finally again....... frm where to n how to practice carving fr exm..............

i have interview on 9May .... d letter from Dr Townes said that interview would start at 7:30 am & last till 5pm of that day .... So, it might be same for 2nd May ... I'd advice u to keep a bigger time gap b/w ur flight & interview, but u r d best judge.

That should be fine.
The school is quite close to the airport. So it will be ok.
