Isn't the out of state tuition something like $60,000/yr? That's absolutely astronomical. 😱

After one year, you become a state resident, and tuition goes down dramatically to in-state levels. But yea, probably have to take out fat private loans to pay that first year off.

yeah... that's what they claim even though it totally contradicts CO state residency requirements. hopefully it's true; it would suck to have to pay 70k for 4 yrs 🙁

Yeah the first year of tuition is like $75k. But after the first year you do get in-state tuition. But they only accept out of state people from states that belong to the WICHE program. They occasionally take 1-2 studets from out of state who do not belong to WICHE. I know a doctor who graduated from there and is now on the admissions committee. He also said the UCHSC uses a formula and given a certain amount of points for GPA and MCAT. If you fall below ther cutoff point they dont even look at the rest of your app.
