I would like to know if anyone is going to CWRU. I am looking for housing, but i am not sure where to live. Also, is this a good school?

CASE is an excellent school. You'll be glad that you go there. At Case, I would say that it's money well spent. Their SIM lab is awesome, with huge locker that can even fit me if I want to sit in it. Try to find some houses that are within 2 blocks to the school. You don't want to walk far in the winter and it rains a lot in April and May overthere. I love Case every bit. Cleveland has good food, good cheese.....My whole experience at Cleveland/Case was all positive. They take good care of their student there.

You'll have lots of fun. Case students are super nice.

Case is an awesome school! When I was there a lot of student said they lived in Little Italy. Not sure where exactly that is, but it sounds fun. My interviewer also said a lot of people live just North/East of campus. Best of luck to ya.

Little Italy is about 7 blocks from the campus=10 min walk. A student took me to her house after my interview day. She rents a studio for $300. And it's quite spacious. And Case allows 12,000/yr for living expenses. Not bad, huh?

CASE has soooo much class. I wrote a letter to them and said that I won't go to Case because I got accepted to UCSF.
They wrote back and congratulated me on my acceptance to UCSF. They said that ucsf is a very great school and they're happy for me. They hope that I'll consider Case for my post-grad study four years from now. I just think that they are super nice.
CASE is awesome.

Tinkerbell, I recently visited Case and I would have to disagree with you. I was influenced by your posts saying how great you thought it was.

The academics and facilities are good, definitely above average. The city of Cleveland was actually pretty decent. Not the best place in the world, definitely not the worst, and overall culturally and atmosphere-wise above average.

The tour and campus is what really brought me down. When I asked the standard questions from the students, here's their responses:

How do you like it here? (Shoulder shrug) "The weather sucks. (But from a Californian) I study a lot. I got in off the waitlist.)

How is the campus? How is the social environment? " The campus isn't too nice. The immediate neighborhood isn't so great. the undergrad campus is small and nothing special. Social life? Oh yeah, every once in a while."

It really fit the "Just in Case Western" Over half the class was Canadian, Californians and Utah people who told me that they didn't get in back home. Only 6 people were from Ohio.

Maybe i just got some less than enthusiaistic tour guides. The school seems pretty decent overall. and the academics seem to be good and the Cleveland Clinic is nearby. But I don't agree with Tinker bell that it's an amazing school or anything. But you do get your own chair.

MidwestDental-
I was rejected outright, but was granted interviews at 7 other schools. I've never been there, but I would wonder: If that place is Just in Case Western, what is Nova's nickname?

Midwestdental,

You don't have to agree with me. I have a different look about a school and hold different standard about a school than you.

How's the weather: Don't count the weather, all Californians who have never seen snow in their lives will say it sucks.

Social life: I don't bother with because figure out I won't have time any way

"I studied a lot" TELL ME ONE DENTAL SCHOOL THAT STUDENTS DON'T HAVE TO STUDY A LOT. I'LL GO THERE FIRST THING

HE CAME ON A WAITING LIST: HE SHOULD BE THANKFUL THAT CASE EVEN TAKE HIM. Because otherwise, he would be Mr. Nobody, doing nothing now.

THE IMMEDIATE NEIGHBORHOOD ISN'T GREAT: That's how they have patients. TEMPLE IS THE SAME, and 125 students willing to pay big bucks to go there every year.
People go to UCLA and complain that the neighborhood is too nice and rich ppl don't come to dental school, how they don't have enough patients. And when they come to the poor neighborhood, they also complain.

I didn't even bother to look at the undergrad campus because I don't think I'll have time or even want to go spend my time wander there. I'll have better things to do

All I care is about the dental school, and what I said good was all about the dental school.
