I've done some looking and threads I have found have been pretty minimal/old. I'm curious to know anything recent about West Penn or Henry Ford. Good, bad, or otherwise.

Thanks.👍

Chris Troianos at West Penn--super nice guy, very sharp. I'd work for him anyday.

The PD or associate PD Finegold seems like the perfect PD-smart, intelligent, and s very Pro-Resident.
The only issue which was an issue when I applied was how West Penn is surviving with the UPMC juggernaut across the street.

This is really starting to concern me. I found out that their bonds are very low grade and they have been losing a lot of money. I really liked the people, but I'm really not sure how to rank this one. They mentioned that the system was purchased recently, but who knows how that works out.

Anyone else have any input?

Can't say I have that much to contribute RE Henry Ford...but I was there for a TY and spoke with a rising anes TY resident there.

The resident said they seemed to get worked very hard, and that the program was very "CRNA heavy/driven". Possibly a service > education mentality.
