I know that it says seminars in biology/chem/physics are "other science", but I know some people have managed to classify non science classes as bcpm, so is it possible? These seminars were biology intensive writing courses, so even though it was a seminar, it was as challenging as mid level bio classes.

If the content was primary biological, you can classify them as BCPM. AMCAS may change them back but there is no penalty if they do

What are the chances? I know there's no exact number- but does AMCAS change classification rather often? The syllabus for the class was very bare bones- not very detailed, so if I have to petition i'm worried. Do you anyone that has gotten seminars classified as bcpm?

What does the official college course catalog say about it?

It actually was in a separate course category. It was an honours course, so it wasn't classified as biology.
