Wow it's a tough market out there. I'm having a lot of difficulty finding a gig starting at ~70K. No one is hiring. Is this going to change any time soon?

Give me a little background on private message and perhaps I can send some information on where to look for a job. It comes...you just have to be patient. Sometimes coming out of school, there are specific things that employers may desire in a candidate. Not sure if you are a recent graduate but I can also give you some websites to visit to search for jobs.
Are you a member of ADA and the tripartite for your state / region? If so, look thru the publications that they send. The last pages (and the state dental association websites usually) always have classified adds for doctors. Places like Castle Dental and Pacific dental will sometimes take you even if they aren't posting job offers... but I honestly would keep looking for something better after you start... no offense to others working there... but I really, really hate dental support organizations (DSOs). They're professionals at finding legal ways of taking away doctor autonomy. Look up 'HRSA jobs' on google and use the map feature to find a clinic with job openings in your area. PS... $70K is low. You should be able to find something $100K and up off the HRSA site without too much trouble. Are you willing to relocate?
Friends of mine that graduated last year have had problems finding good work. Finding any type of work shouldn't be that hard. It's just that those positions barely paid anything, were hours away from a city, or were not conducive for growth as a dentist at all.

Yep that's what I mean. There are some places where I know the owners are currently involved in disputes with past associates for not paying new grads.
