just wanted to get a shoutout from you guys! i just decided for sure that's where i'm going...very excited to go to nyc!

SUNY was my second choice next to SCCO. But ever since I interviewed there in december, I didn't want to leave! Its an amazing city and it would be totally awesome to spend the next four years there. I sent my deposits for both schools and I am having a really hard time deciding between the two!

BTW, no one has yet to make a "SUNY Optometry Class of 2012" facebook group page. You are more than welcome to make one 🙂

CarltonBanks-- I was in the same situation as you... but reversed! Although I hadn't interviewed with SUNY, they _were_ my #1 choice until I visited SCCO-- I just loved it there. (And I'm just a west coast type of guy.)

I'm sure you'll pick the school that is best for you. But, I also hope to see you at SCCO!

Yeah I saw that, good stuff. Looks like its becoming a tradition down at SUNY to make an orientation video for the entering class. With all the YouTube videos they are releasing, it seems like the current optometry students have WAY too much time on their hands!

its funny cuz when i went for my interview at SUNY i ran into one of the students from the youtube videos and i was totally star struck.

haha... i felt like i'd just seen a celebrity.
