Anyone hear back from Boston?

I had an interview with Boston early this month and anxiously waiting for decision or any kind of updates. Anyone hear back? Or know how full the class is? When I had my interview on 3/3/09, I was informed the interview was for a seat but have recent interviewers hear anything different as I know there are interviews till the end of March.

i had an interview feb 9th and still havent heard anything back..wah wah

I was also there on March 3rd and heard back really fast on the following Monday...I'm pretty sure there should still be seats left though, not everyone will accept but they have to wait for the official deadline to decline before they can offer more seats!

Did anyone hear back yet?? and ndawg did you accept the offer and when is the official day to decline or the last day of interviews?
 
They told us on Friday that there were still spot(s) available but wouldn't say how many. The last interview day is this coming Friday March 27th.

So for those of us still waiting to hear from them I'm guessing it will be sometime next week if the last interview is this Friday. Maybe even the week after....

It feels like its been forever since I interviewed there...

I would think my stats are right there with this year's interview applicants according to an e-mail they sent me. 3.3 and a 20 on the DAT. I am kinda disappointed how I did not receive an invitation from them. Oh well.....invitation from Pacific(my top choice) is SOOO much better
 
Sorry for the late reply. My deposit had to be in by March 23rd, so I'm assuming that's when they would reevaluate and send more offers.

And yes I did accept, I really liked it there.

THanks for the update ndawg! I enjoyed my time in Boston also, so I hope to see you there if I get in.
 
Still no answer for anyone from Boston recently? I interviewed there 4 weeks ago and still nothing! This feels horrible, I thought my interview went well...
 
I'm right up there with pcake. Interviewed at around the same time, and still waiting. Makes you appreciate the undergrad school admissions process a lot more.
 
they let people in off the waitlist all the way up till a couple of days before class starts --- with it being so expensive, lots of spots end up opening up

I haven't heard from them, but I know one of the applicants I interviewed with on Mar 9 told me through facebook that she had been accepted.
 
I called BU last wednesday
She told me the interview was done for this cycle.
However, she did not tell me specific info about
further acceptances and number of the seats left.

One thing for sure is that further acceptances will come
from the applicants who had interview at BU without any words since.
 
I just talked with Laura on the phone and she informed that the class is not yet full. However, they do not release any figures.
 
I wish they could just e-mail us and let us know the approximate number of seats left or anything. It would be so good to know. I am starting to feel so hopeless. It is the middle of final exams and I can't stop checking my email!

I checked predents today and someone was waitlisted on the 17th. Is that good or bad news? Anyone else think admissions is reading these posts everyday and laughing at how pathetic we are?
 
are there any more seats left at BU? if they have started their waitlist prob. they have no more seats availible and wil turn to the wait list once a seat open up...
 
I'm assuming its full. I received an email for the waitlist on April 17th. Interviewed Jan. 16th.

gpa 3.3 sci 3.3
DAT 20/21/23

I interviewed on Feb 10.
HAvent received any email.
i hope it is not full tho..........
 
that's a good news...so why have they started their waitlist when they have spot availible?
 
shenevas and pay didnt you guys get into nyu ? are u planning on attending nyu or still waiting for BU?
 
i did not get into NYU.
I thought Dr. Mejia called for an acceptance
which later found out it was just a phone call
I still dont know why she called me
(when I contacted her a week later, she told me
it is hard to give me a definitive date or time I will be re-considered)

I would choose NYU over BU but
you never know at this point which school will accept me
therefore i have to keep track of both schools' current situation.
 
i just got off the waitlist at nyu but i was still pretty sure that i was going to pick bu if i got in...
 
well i wish you both luck i guess were all in the same position just waiting praying and hoping haha
 
hey guys, i got placed on the alternate list today via email. I interviewed feb 6, 2009. does anyone have any idea when they'll start opening up the class for the waitlisted?
 
Hopefully you hear back from them, I was waitlisted for BU for the 08 cycle, and interview around March as well. They never got back to me, not even in August. I sent about 2-3 letters expressing my interested from March to August and finally just gave up and went for my plan B, Masters.

At this point I can suggest sending emails to the admission and continue to keep in touch with them. Good luck
