Anyone hear back from Emory?

Hey, quick question to all SDN'ers...I was wondering if anyone has heard back from Emory post-interview (after last acceptance cylce). It was mentioned at the interview that they would snail mail out new acceptances on Dec. 20th...I have also heard, however, that they have been known to phone as well...anyways, I am anxiously awaiting word, as Emory is one of my top choices...if anyone has any info, please post...thank you...

I don't know about the phone calls, but chill about the snail mail...it's only Dec 21st and it's the worse postage season of the year...in fact, yesterday is tradionally known as the highest mail volume day of the year.
so Merry Christmas...and maybe your acceptance will be mixed with all those holiday cards 😀

Edit: In an effort to try to be somewhat helpful, I will add that I expect tomorrow will be the first day those letters will pop up in mailboxes around the country.

has anyone that interviewed early received an acceptance NOT during the adcom meeting following your interview, but a subsequent adcom meeting?

i guess what im trying to say is, has anybody been accepted after having their app thrown back into the pile?

Note on "Schedule of Correspondence for Interviewed Applicants" in their interview packet:

"Acceptance letters may be sent on any mailing date subsequent to an individual's interview. Therefore, an acceptance letter may be sent as late as March to someone interviewed in October."

this has nothing to do with what im asking. im asking a question that cannot be answered from the info they have given us. i realize it is possible that they can accept somebody on any of those meeting days post interview. my Q has more to do with whether they are really reviewing the old files, or if they are waiting until they see more applicants before they do so. in any case, my question still remains: has anybody been accepted on a date besides the initial one after their interview?

Letter of acceptance sent on Nov. 23 - took a little longer to get to my house because of the Thanksgiving holiday
