Anyone hear from Case Western?

I applied to Case and haven't heard anything back yet, even though I know some people who have. All those people applied MSTP though, and I'm just regular MD, so I was wondering if anyone else has heard back, and if so, did you apply for the regular MD program or MSTP? Also, does anyone know if they screen?

Here's what my book (from 2002) says:
Once your application is received, the admissions committee will screen it and will send you either a secondary application or a rejection.

I haven't heard from them, but that's probably b/c I haven't submitted AMCAS yet. 🙂

I received a secondary from case western on friday or thursday I think. I sent out my primary app fairly early (around June 1st) and it was processed around the end of the that month or so. But they must not screen it that much b/c I haven't sent out my mcat score yet, since I'm taking it in august, and my gpa is hardly impressive. Just wait, I'm sure they will reply to you too! 😳

Edit: Sorry, I forgot to mention I applied to the MD program only.

I haven;t received one either.
Don't worry . I haven't received one from UNiv. of Ky either and I am KY resident! They send a secondary to all KY residents.

So my guess is that they are taking their own sweet time and they don't screen - that is what I have been told. so just chill

i haven't heard anything yet. ohio resident, MD program (not CCL).

my last name begins with a "w", i wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that i haven't received upitt's or case's secondaries.

although i'm a little hesitant to invoke the "alphabet theory" after all the silliness that transpired on the AMCAS Submitted/Processed/Etc. thread....
