i noticed someone received an acceptance on jan 5th on predents. was wondering if anyone else heard back.

Um, the Dean personally said that they won't send out anything til later. Makes that acceptance somewhat suspicious. Could be some random kid to decide he wanted to "go to" Columbia without an interview. Who knows?

You can't necessarily believe what the schools tell you, and/or they have a right to change their course of action. Why would anyone on here/predents lie? The schools have more incentive to take poetic license on what they say. I'm not calling it either way, just making the point.

Because they can. Because they won't get caught. Because people on here can be spastic and/or gullible. Because it can be funny when there are bunches of anxious students out there. Because they can. Because they can't get caught.

Number one naive question: why would people on here lie? (no offense)
