Hey everyone, here is list of programs that have not been added to our interview invite list yet. If you've gotten an interview, please consider adding it to the list with the date that you got the invite. This should help next year's neurotic med students, as well as those this year that haven't got many interviews and are looking to apply to a few more before MSPE's go out. Thanks! Good Luck all!

I've heard from SUNY Stony Brook, and if AE Bronx is the same as Jacobi, I've heard from them too. also, UHawaii rejected me.

Got an invite from Albany Medical Center today.

I have heard from Suny Stony Brook, St. Barnabus (in the Bronx), and NYMC - Westchester

Someone in another thread re: Boston programs stated that they had heard from BCRP at the end of Sept.

I believe that OSU = Nationwide Childrens under Ohio so that's already been listed.

I heard from cook a long time ago, but don't have time to interview there so I didn't add it...

If it helps anyone's sanity, I did not hear from UCSF and Stanford until later in the game last year. Stanford came in late October, UCSF after Dean's letters went out. So definitely don't give up on places yet. Good luck everyone!

FREIDA has 2 nationwide programs. One associated with OSU and another too. I didn't apply there, so not sure the difference, but yeah, check out freida, i don't think they are the same program

when did newark beth isreal send out IVs? also...have they sent rejections out yet?

Whoa... just checked out the 2010 interns from BCRP. Freakin' impressive. Almost all from top 10 medical schools. It looks like 75% of there class is >35 years old with PhDs, masters, etc. It seems the ones that aren't PhD's they just find the most unique applicants. People who majored in Dance in undergrad, or were foreign doctors for like 20 years.

It's kinda nice to know that I won't have to compete against these guys for spots at other programs, since BCRP snags them all :)

Nationwide/Doctor's = Dually accreditated (?) so DO/MD

Nationwide Children's/OSU = MD

Doctor's usually on DO's apply to.
OSU both can apply to.

Oh wow, I didn't even know that some schools didn't take DO's. Is that fairly common?

No, they do take DO's. I guess I should have said allopathic and osteopathic. Oops :)

The dually accreditated program takes 4 DO's a year, and they are affiliated with Doctor's.
There are DO's accepted to Nationwide who do not apply to the dually accreditated residency.

As for other programs, yes, there are still programs that do not take DO's. Not as commonly seen in peds, but unfortunately they are. Missing out on some good docs :)

I had arranged to interview at Sinai early since I am doing an away rotation in Baltimore. However, just yesterday (10-18) I got a form letter inviting me to interview. So maybe those went out as a group?

I got an invite from Beth Israel last week.

Ok I heard from UHawaii, NYMC, Harlem and NY Methodist... IV just from Methodist.

Got Invite today at Brown

Hey Lizzy

Don't post on the main interview/reject thread but I heard from MGH 10/5 and BCRP 10/6.....is fine if you post on the thread for me (I am afraid I'll screw up the formatting and everyone will yell) so that next years applicants have the info.

I got a UMass interview invite on 10/22.

Congrats! Yeah, there are some formatting nazis there, but it does keep it nice and readable. Good luck on your interviews!

Columbia Hospital in West Palm Beach actually only has IM and IM/Derm there. Columbia is the base for Palm Beach County Graduate Med Ed (PBCGME), which does have a Peds program at Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee, FL (West Palm area). It is NOT associated with USF. It is a Nova Southeastern University program (Osteopathic only).

Anyone awaiting OHSU? Also, does anyone know when does movement off waitlist occurs? I'm guessing people start canceling a lot mid-december when they get tired?

So, I'm assuming that silence from a program at this point is the same thing as a rejection? I still haven't heard a peep from:

Albert Einsteins (both in the Bronx)
NYU
Mount Sinai
UCSD

Not a big deal really but I was wondering if anyone had any insight into how this works?! Thanks! :)
