Anyone hear from U of C or NW?

Last year a friend of mine received a nice letter from U of C a few days before the rank list submission date. Just wondering if the same thing is happening this year.

Also any word from NW?

That is pretty interesting. Well I definitely did not receive any books or letters. Maybe they've done away with the whole practice? It would obviously not affect my rank list, but it would be nice to get some love from these places to know that this will all turn out just fine.
