anyone hear from UCSD post-interview recently?

i know that UCSD just had a committee meeting this monday. has anyone received a phone call from dr. resnick yet?

How often does the committee meet, and on what days?

I thought they meet on the 1st and the 15th?

they meet every other monday. they were supposed to have a meeting this monday.

Do they usually call the next day after the meeting?

FYI,

I called the office the other day, and the lady said that they've accepted about 70 people so far, out of the possible 120 class size.

She also said that they will eventually accept double the class size, i.e. approximately 250.

70/250 = 28% of total acceptances has been given out so far, so I think we still have a chance 🙂

Do you know when they stop interviewing?

After they stop interviewing, is that when the acceptable pool turns into a waitlist, or is it after the class fills up?

I *think* they stop interviewing in April (but I may be confusing this with another school here)... but after that I don't know what happens with regards to the acceptable pool-- I'd sure like to know too though! 😀 😀 😀
