I have heard from University of Kentucky and Tufts and accepted to both, but still waiting from UNC. Anyone been accepted already?

It's my understanding that UNC is meeting from 8-2PM today, and letters will go out later this week.

I was wondering the same thing, I think it might be pushing it though. As hard as it is to wait, I think i'm going to try to be patient. Key word....try.

Contacting them...I don't know, I guess I was waiting for Jaap to say that he had gotten word first or something. At your interview did they mention when they were mailing them? They just told us to be patient and not to worry if we didn't hear anything this week. My AADSAS wasn't received at schools until mid-October, so I've only interviewed at a couple so far, neither of which were going to be able to notify me on Dec. 1st. I'm ready for some good news!

I called yesterday and was told that they are meeting from 8-2pm today. Best case scenario, those accepted at that time will be sent letters on Thursday and Friday. So watch the mail early next week! and best of luck!

Not much info on ya. Where ya from? Haven't decided between UK or Tufts? I was just curious cause right now that's all i have to decide between. I wanted to get your opinions and impressions on the shools.

Of course, If i get UNC i'll be there in a heartbeat!

Just called UNC - class of 2008 baby! They didn't seem to have any problem telling me over the phone. Apparantly they left a message on my machine at home, but I'm on campus. So it seems that if you got a voicemail or message to call them, you're in!!! Call and find out - what do you have to lose. Good luck everyone - hope to see lots of you in Chapel Hill next year.

I am just glad for you as you got what you wanted..
UNC is a great school and I am sure you will do fantastic no
matter where you go. All the best friend...u have been such a
valuable advisor @ this thread. By the way, does UNC give any
scholarships? If anybody, you deserve it the most!!

Thanks, I'll settle for the great in-state tuition rate.

i think they do give out scholarships. my friend got a 4-yr scholarship at UNC...she'll basically graduate w/ debt free...but hey, they already have one of the lowest tuitions in the country...don't be too greedy...hihi j/k
