I am very interested in majoring in the Neuroscience program at UIC and was wondering if anyone hear had done the same or knew anything about it? Thanks, Presa.

i just graduated from UIC and I think they just started the neuroscience major there this year. I took a bunch of neuro classes like biology of the brain, nerve and muscle physiology, etc. and they are great classes. The teachers were some of the best Ive ever had and they were actually fun to listen to and learn from. From my experience the classes were somewhat difficult but I probably still enjoyed them more then any of my other science classes. I would've done it if it existed when i was an undergrad. I hope to go into neuroscience though, so maybe my viewpoint is jaded. good luck with your decision.

I've basically finished up Tulane's Neuroscience program. I need one class to finish, and hopefully i'll do that when Tulane reopens in the spring.

I found it to be a great mix of bio and pysc. I'd recommend it if you don't want to get bogged down in super molecular biology or something similar, I feel like our neuroscience program was well put together, its about 5 years old now, maybe 6, and its the fastest growing science major at Tulane (i think.)
