Anyone in a past cycle complete earlier on but only received interviews much later?

Just curious. I definitely know interviews go out after the new year, but generally I assume they are for late apps or for people who were on the brink of getting an interview (and who has been desirable at other schools earlier in the cycle).

I'm wondering if anyone was complete earleir on, July-August and received their first interview December onwards. If so please post! The no interviews boat needs some hope!

I was complete by late August and didn't get my first interview until December, after which I got 5 in a span of a few weeks.

Don't be afraid to send letters to schools you really like, or to inform them of any achievements or updates you may have.

Haha I actually saw this before I made this post. I wanted to see if others had the same experience. I've sent a few update letters a month or so ago. I'll try again to more schools after finals!
