Is there anyone who is attending Drexel University and is majoring in biomedical engineering? Do you ppl view this major as too hard for pre med? Im torn between chemistry and BME. I want to get into a good med school but i dont want my GPA to suffer if take a hard major. what do you guys think

drexel has an undergrad??

*i guess all that fairly dust has screwed up my head*

anways. I didn't go to Drexel, but I was a BME. It was hard. In fact it was super hard. But I still think it was an awesome major. I learned a lot and have some amazing research (all my interviewers ask me about it). If you find BME interesting, then do it. If you find it boring, then run and don't ever look back  My gpa isn't too great (~3.4), but it's not too big of a deal. I'm not doing to badly 🙂

Oh, and if you manage to maintain a good gpa, wow, your life is made.

i think anything with an "engineering" attached to its end would be hard.... =p for example, i know bioe is at least 10 times harder than pure molecular and cell biology at my school. i think it's mainly due to the # of lab courses and the extra computer programming classes that engineers have to take. :scared:
