I recently interviewed for SGU and was wondering how long it takes to hear back from them. I interviewed in ATL, GA. with Dr. Lane. If anyone else has interviewed with him for fall 2005 admissions, did you get accepted and what did you think about the interview itself. Any comments are much appreciated.

Hey just to give you a heads up this is one of the busier times of the year for the ADCOM due to the volume of applications coming in. Many apps at this point in time are individuals who are scrambling for a seat and didn't make it into a US Allo school. I applied way back in Sep as a precaution and found out in March that I was accepted.

Here's my timeline:

App Submitted Sep
Interview granted Nov
Interview held Late jan
Decision made Late March

So once you've had your interview it takes anywhere from 2-7 weeks to hear back from them. About 3 weeks after your interview I would call and ask about your status... never hurts.

I had my interview in February and found out in May--so sometimes, it takes longer than usual. Just keep bugging them (I did, and they still accepted me).

Good luck!

why not give them a call thats a really long time to wait. Usually takes at most 2 months but 5 is a real long time.

I have called them. They just say that my app is still with the board and no decision has been made. So I guess I am going to Ross instead. Good Luck to you.

I recently interviewed as well in miami, florida and have not heard from them. It must take a few weeks. School starts in August so i would think they should be making decisions now. Does anyone know how long the process of filling out loans and paperwork takes when applying to St.George's

thanks

I interviewed in early May and heard from them today . . . .so it looks like there is movement!

good luck :luck:

i did. right now i am debating between a 5 year program at USF (i'm from florida) and SGU. and i am waitlisted at GW. but i think it's looking like the carib. for me. i am excited. i got the email today from stephanie and all of my previous plans sort of turned upside down. what a wild process this has been! how about you? '79? so r you a career changer like me? i'm '78 . . .

I actually applied for the January 2006 semester and was granted an interview. I am from and presently living in the Caribbean. I am wondering whether I should interveiw in Greneda or in Florida? Are there any advantages/disadvantages?

Well if you interview in the Caribbean you get to check out the school at the same time and you if you ultimately decide to go you might just be able to get the school to reimburse you for the trip
