I have a SCCO interview coming up on Tuesday Jan 11. I was hoping for some advice or some feedback from anyone that already interviewed. Thanks a bunch!!

ask about their external rotation sites.

hcheng,

How did the interview go? Any surprises? 🙂

My interview went smooth. I only had one faculty and one student because one of the faculty members had to cancel last minute. The interviewers were really friendly and easy-going. Now I'm just eager to find out which should be probably this coming Tuesday!!

What kind of questions did they ask you? How long was the whole interview process? I have an interview with SCCO on 1/27.

Did you get accepted yet?

Hi,

I have already sent all my other materials excluding the actual application itself. How did you guys find the campus and what aspects about the school drew you to it? How is it different from the other optometry schools? I heard they have very new equipment and of course the location is fabulous compared to MI. But the tuition including the cost of living is quite high. I'm just trying to decide whether it's worth going for an interview. Thanks for any suggestions.

I went for an interview there a few months ago, and I thought the campus was allright..nothing spectacular though. I'm personally not much of a city person though, so maybe that's why I was not too impressed with Fullerton. They did just build a new eye care center though, which is very nice. Also, remember that it is a private school, so there will not be as much going on on campus as opposed to, say, Berkeley or Indiana, which are part of public universities. Just something to keep in mind. 🙂
