For those of you interviewing this coming week in June I can only tell you to relax. The day is long, however, KCOM has gone to great lengths to make it as low stress as possible.
For instance, instead of giving you your tours etc. before you interview, all interviews are scheduled so they are done before lunch. You will have (I think) two faculty interviews and one with an admissions counselor, again, these'll be done by lunch. After lunch you will get an OTM demonstration, assuming there are enough student ambassadors in town (2nd years are on break next week) followed by a Q&A on Financial Aid, a tour of our Recreation facilities, and a campus tour.
Interviews are fairly relaxed, and they are designed to be nonconfrontational so you can learn as much about KCOM as KCOM does about you. No one is out to 'get you' or trick you into anything during the interviews. Both of mine were very low key, just regular conversations, however, each interviewer has their own style. When given the opportunity to ask questions, esp. from students ask away. Most of us like helping others and look forward to interview day as much you do (its refreshing to see people excited about med school).
Last minute advice, get a good nights rest, be on time, and be who you are. Oh, being polite is also a good thing (remember please and thank you).
