Anyone interviewing at UVM on Tuesday?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
i already interviewed there....but i just wanted to wish you good luck.

i loved uvm. that place rocks...mostly cause the people there kickass.

it is hella cold outside when you are walking towards the givens building...but its really warm inside. theres construction going on but its not too loud so its all good.

the only outside walking i did was to and from the parking lot with my student host...so not too much. and a little bit of cold is refreshing 😉

however try not to fall asleep like i did during the orientation haha. i couldnt adjust to the 3 hour time difference quick enough 😉. and lunch voucher rules since there is no limit on food. i took enough for dinner that night too haha. and you can save it on the student fridge so its all good.

The forecast for Tuesday isn't that bad:
Snow 15?X/7?X. (Today is 1?X/-17?X! and that is before the wind chill)

Trust me, I was born and raised in CA so I am not a fan of winter. Now I am a first yr at UVM and I think 15?X is sweltering. You really do adjust.

As for the technical aspects of surviving in cold weather on interview day: If it is snowing and gross out, bring your nice shoes and change into them when you get to school. And wear a warm jacket!! You stash it in the admissions office and no one will ever see it, so it doesn't have to be fancy.

Don't stress. Interviews at UVM are notoriously chill. And the students rock. Let me know if you need any advice.
