I just sent mine out the other day... Because of all the Christmas stuff, i delayed it... Should I call the school to confirm it on the 31st?

I sent mine out the other day... There's probably no one in any office until after New Year's. If you're super concerned, I would send the admissions officer an e-mail. Also, some schools asked you to send it certified mail with a receipt request, so you should have that *just* in case your $$ got lost in the mail.

Btw, did you settle on SB for sure? 👍

I sent my cheque via registered mail - I figure I'd send them an email once I've received confirmation of its arrival.

I just sent it regular mail a couple of weeks ago and it got there just fine.

Priority mail w/ signature confirmation yesterday. 🙂 Now that Christmas is over, I think it should be fine. 🙂

I think you should definitely call the school to confirm it just in case. They can hold the seat for you if they don't have it yet. Are we talking about Stony Brook here? 😀
I sent mine out via regular mail before Christmas and confirmed it with them. They will send me some information on housing.
Good luck

So I'm dealing with this right now... A little freaked out. I called SB on the 31st to ask if they received it yet--left a voicemail. Then today Patricia called me saying that they haven't received it yet. I'm pretty sure I'm not screwed out of my acceptance, but it's pretty annoying to deal with. I sent it out the 26th and the post office can't track it until 15 days after that 😡

Argh! Why didn't I think to send it registered mail?! I'm an idiot.
