Anyone Know About the University of Kentucky?

Hey. Just wanted to see if anyone knew anything about the University of Kentucky. Like how is the campus setting and if there is stuff to do off campus (cities nearby, places to go out, etc.). I'm from the tri-state and never really been down south haha thanks again!

Nah, you won't be a weirdo. Private messaging isn't dependent on relationships with people on the forum. It's the perfect venue for asking a direct question to someone who likely has answers, rather than blindly grasping in the forums.

@drashley: Thanks for the help! But, I just read something that had me wondering now. On the site it says "It is not easy to gain Kentucky residency in order to be eligible for in state tuition. If a student comes to Kentucky specifically for educational purposes, it is highly unlikely that residency will be granted." .... That would force me to pay out of state tuition for 4 years, which is pretty hefty and almost equally comparable to any private institution. I had the mindset that I was going to pay out of state tuition for one year, and then claim residency my remaining 3 years, but this has me thinking otherwise. Your thoughts?

@RU1992 From what they tell us at orientation gaining residency if you're just moving here for school isn't gonna happen. So you should expect to pay out of state tuition all four years...sorry.
