Anyone know Microsoft Excel fairly well?

I have a jumbo list of contacts in an excel spreadsheet. I am at work and was told to extract all the contacts that have certain zip codes (there is a zip code column which every entry includes). Is there a way to sort by variable? Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

I am currently on a macbook but can go on a windows computer if needed.

If you have Office 2010 go to Data Tab and there is a button called sort with an A -> Z symbol. Click that bad boy when your column you wish to sort is highlighted and you will be finished with your task in about 8 seconds.

In the Data tab you can also filter out certain Zips if you have a column selected. Filter is in the same tab on the ribbon as Sort.
