Hey guys just wondering if any of you live off campus while your going to pharmacy school and what you think about it. Do you feel its harder financially? Is it more difficult to keep up with the coursework if you live off campus? Thanks

My school ONLY has off campus and loans cover the costs no problem. If you have problems studying at home, there's always the library.

I don't know anyone who lives on campus... It's professional school.

Our school has limited on-campus but very few people actually live there. So, I don't think there is an inherent negative effect to living off campus.

I got a chuckle trying to picture a pharmacy dorm. Talk about a nerdy place no one would want to visit!

Some classmates and I joke about living at school already since it seems we're always there bumping into each other in the halls.

I lived off campus. It wasn't any big deal. Most people, but not everyone lived off campus. Some people even commuted in from other cities (back in the days of <$1 gas). The hardest part was dealing with parking, especially in the mornings. I just made a point to get to campus early enough to get a spot. I spent any excess time studying, working out, talking with friends, surfing the net, reading, whatever I felt I wanted to be doing at the time.
