It has been nothing short of painful to work in this environment, watch my coworkers become burnt out, watch patient care suffer, and for the first time ever, contemplate going into an entirely different field. Options:
- leaving altogether for another field
- sticking it out with all of the other mental health professionals
- planning to practice in another state
- cross fingers that things will be better by the end of a doctoral program (all but one of which I'm interested in would be outside of this state)
