Who else who applied to MI, is a MI resident and applied super early not invited yet? I'm so worried now and losing hope everyday cuz they've given out 150 already🙁
I haven't heard back either. I have 4 years of research experience, good GPA and DAT. Not a ton of ECs though. I'm pretty worried at this point, I thought U of M would be my best bet for an interview.
It only makes a difference for acceptance once you secure an interview.
150 huh? that's half already. It's depressing. Good job applying early, if your stats are ok, you have good ECs and especially research experience, you should get an interview. The Michigan residency thing doesn't matter for interviews though. It only makes a difference for acceptance once you secure an interview. Sucks doesn't it?
I can't see UoM not giving you an interview with those stats plus research. They start a bit later than other schools and seem to be on the slow side. No worries. 👍
I mean, your other interview invites suggest that you're free of hidden red flags right? What fault could they find in you?
Hey just wondering where did you hear that they interview 1/3 of the Michigan applicants?
the numbers they publish says other wise.
1/3 of michigan applicants land an interview vs. less than 10% of oos applicants land an interview. Of course they are a public state school so it is not a surprise to me.
