Anyone Other Emory Acceptances out there?

I was wondering if anyone else had been accepted to Emory. I recieved my letter on Nov. 5 2004. It is such a relief to at least know that you are headed somewhere for Medical School.

I think there are going to be a lot more when this next batch goes out either this friday or like next wednesday or sthn.. The committee is going to meet around then i think erica said..sooo hurry up and wait..

If my interview was in early october (so a while before the first batch of acceptances went out) do you think theres still a good chance i might be accepted this time around? or do you think i, and others like me, shouldnt really expect to hear until march when they make final accepance/rejection/waitlist offers?

What is considered early October? I interviewed on the 11th. To clarify, a second batch of acceptances should be coming out next week? God I hope I get one from this school, i loved em!!! Unfortunately it was my first interview and i kinda sucked it up. Ambrosia, we have like exact stats so i hope we both get in!!!! Later kids, i gotta test in 30 minutes that i should prolly start studying for, stupid senioritis

I interviewed there on the 8th also....wonder if we met....

I got a call at the end of October, and the snail mail confirmation in very early Nov.

i called them and they're interviewing up to the end of feb, but the spots are prolly all filled up by now.........i hate this **** too man, i hear ya.......

man atleast they didn't review your file and decide not to give you an interview but not to reject you and to just keep you there as 'active'

call them and say you're trying to finalize your interviewing, ask if you'r eon their list.

I found some schools actually wait until you call before they get around to sending out the invite...

personally for me only Wake and Medical College of Georgia but i've heard from this board and personal friends that it was true for others as well...some of the NY schools. I thought someone also said it was true for Emory but maybe i'm wrong. At this point what do you have to lose by trying?

Congrats to those accepted. I'm an emory undergrad, and the med school is showing me and other emory undergrads no love. It seems like if you took the Aug. mcat, you are out of luck. I figured I'd at least get a courtesy interview, especially since my parents are paying 40,000+/yr. Oh well.

I am waiting to hear about an interview from Emory. My stats are pretty low so I'm not really expecting one. I was curious. Did any of you who applied to Emory recieve an email from them before you applied that said "High Priority Invitation." That was what struck my interest in Emory in the first place. I don't know to how many they actually send that email. They definately made some money in application fees from it, so I guess it does good for them.
